The North Water Pig Tail with Keyhole Carabiner is a tubular webbing bungee tow designed for swift water rescue and complex extraction scenarios. It stretches from 24" to 40", giving you enough dynamic extension to work with a moving swimmer or pinned boat without creating a rigid, dangerous connection. The stainless steel D-ring attaches to a quick-release belt at the back of the PFD, while the 26 kN keyhole carabiner clips to the front for immediate access when seconds matter.

Where the Pig Tail really earns its place is in pinned and broached situations. Once a throw bag reaches the victim, they can clip the end of the line directly into the carabiner, giving the rescuer a connection to the back of the victim's PFD. That single clip opens up significantly more options for how the rescue is carried out, and shifts the victim from a passive role to an active one in their own extrication.

The keyhole carabiner configuration offers a higher rated gate strength compared to the paddle carabiner version, making this a solid choice for rescue professionals and paddlers who want maximum rated security in their tow system.
